PhD student Francisca Marques in Valencia!

From the 13th of April to the 1st of May, the PhD student Francisca Marques visited and performed some collaborative work in the Nutrition and Food Science laboratory of Professor Francisco J. Barba at the Faculty of Pharmacy from the University of Valencia, in Spain. This insightful experience allowed Francisca to acquire new knowledge on food-grade innovative extraction approaches (e.g., PEF, ASE and SFE) and methodologies for characterizing the extracts, as well as establish a new collaboration with Professor Francisco J. Barba.
This visit was possible thanks to the financial support of the COST Action CA20106 – TOMORROW’S ‘WHEAT OF THE SEA’: ULVA, A MODEL FOR AN INNOVATIVE MARICULTURE (SEAWHEAT).
