Services
The Lipidomics laboratory, integrated within the Mass Spectrometry Centre, is an exceptional facility, holding state-of-the-art mass spectrometers with liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionisation (ESI), including a Q-Exactive Hybrid Quadrupole-Orbitrap (Thermo) and a LXQ ion trap (Thermo). Also, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (Agilent) is used for fatty acid profile analysis.
